Eintracht Pursue Permanent Move for Leeds’ Kristensen

Eintracht Frankfurt Keen to Secure Permanent Deal for Leeds United‘s Rasmus Kristensen

Leeds United‘s right-back Rasmus Kristensen, who is currently on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga, is reportedly a target for a permanent move by the German club.

Leeds manager Daniel Farke is unlikely to be concerned about how Kristensen and Jack Harrison are performing during their respective loan spells since the club’s relegation. However, the 49ers ownership group will be looking to offload these players permanently in the coming months, drawing a line under the loan clauses they inherited from the previous regime.

According to reports from The Athletic, Eintracht Frankfurt are keen to sign Kristensen on a permanent deal in 2025. Kristensen joined Leeds in the summer of 2022 from Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of £8.4 million and has been a key player for Eintracht during his loan spell.

Eintracht had previously attempted to sign Kristensen during the January transfer window but failed to reach an agreement with Leeds. However, the report suggests that the German club is hopeful of finding a resolution in the upcoming summer window.

The departure of Omar Marmoush to Manchester City in the January transfer window has provided Eintracht with additional funds to invest in a rebuild, and they view Kristensen as a key part of their future plans.

Leeds Uniteds Last Minute Transfer Opportunity Revealed

It’s clear that Kristensen does not have a future at Elland Road, as he has not been able to cement his place in the Leeds squad. With the player eager to leave and the club willing to part ways, the prospect of a permanent move to Eintracht Frankfurt appears to be the best outcome for all parties involved.

While Kristensen’s departure may not be missed by the Leeds faithful, the fee received from his sale will be helpful for the club’s financial position as they continue their journey to regain Premier League status.
