Premier League Returns with Exciting Matches and Student-Designed Artwork
The highly anticipated Premier League returns this week, with matchday 25 kicking off. After a brief hiatus for the EFL Cup and FA Cup (except for the Everton-Liverpool match), teams are set to catch up and deliver some thrilling fixtures.
Some standout games to look forward to include Brighton taking on Chelsea on Friday at 20:00 GMT, Leicester City hosting Arsenal on Saturday at 12:30 GMT, Manchester City welcoming Newcastle at 17:00 GMT on Saturday, and the Sunday showdowns between Liverpool and Wolves (14:00) as well as Tottenham and Manchester United (16:30).
Showcasing Student Creativity
Interestingly, Premier League fans will notice a unique addition to the social media channels – children’s drawings. This is part of the league’s effort to support over 19,000 primary schools and 70,000 teachers across the UK through the Premier League Primary Stars program.
To celebrate the creativity of these young students, the league will be showcasing the incredible artwork and talent of pupils across the country. The drawings will even be used to represent the team names in the league table, adding a charming and personal touch.
The Premier League Primary Stars initiative provides free, curriculum-linked resources for children aged 7-12, covering subjects like English, Math, PE, and Health. Additionally, the program addresses important topics such as building self-esteem, tackling gender stereotypes, and promoting safe internet use.
