It’s the weekend again, and that means a feast of football awaits us. This time around, there are some massive fixtures to enjoy across both Saturday and Sunday. The Football Tracker is your one-stop shop for all the major results and news.
Sunday, February 16th
17:45 CET – Tottenham have taken an early lead! James Maddison has tapped in a rebound to put them ahead.
17:10 CET – Tottenham have already beaten Manchester United twice in all competitions this season, 3-0 in the Premier League and 4-3 in the League Cup quarter-final. Not since 1989-90 have Spurs beaten Man Utd three times in a single campaign, while the last side to defeat the Red Devils three times in a season were Chelsea in 2012-13.
Kick-off in 20 minutes.
17:04 CET – Lyon have moved up to fifth in Ligue 1 with a 4-1 win away to Montpellier, who are bottom of the league and six points off safety.
16:57 CET – Liverpool hold on! The league leaders have gone seven points clear at the top of the Premier League again with a narrow 2-1 win over Wolves.
16:30 CET – Wolves have halved the deficit at Anfield through a lovely goal from Matheus Cunha. They have 20 minutes to find an equaliser.
Tottenham vs Manchester United follows that match, and the lineups are in for it, with Guglielmo Vicario playing his first match since November for Spurs and United missing numerous players through injury.

15:41 CET – In Spain, Athletic have extended their unbeaten run in LaLiga to 15 matches but only with a draw, being held 1-1 by Espanyol and staying six points off league leaders Real Madrid as a result.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are in cruise control, leading Wolves 2-0 at the break with Salah doubling their lead with a penalty.
15:15 CET – Luis Diaz has given Liverpool the lead against Wolves, bundling the ball over the line after Mohamed Salah’s effort was deflected into his path.
14:30 CET – Goals from Assane Diao and Nico Paz have fired Como to a 2-0 win away at Fiorentina in Serie A.
It’s a big three points earned for Como, who are now five points clear of the drop zone. As for La Viola, they will be disappointed to have missed the chance to break back into the top five.
13:55 CET – Premier League pacesetters Liverpool are in action today from 15:00 CET, hosting Wolves and looking to reinstate their seven-point lead over Arsenal. Below you can see the starting lineups for both sides.
Liverpool have won 15 of their last 16 Premier League meetings with Wolves, with the exception being a 3-0 loss at Molineux in February 2023, as per Opta.
Also at 15:00 CET, Lyon face Montpellier in Ligue 1.
13:22 CET – At half-time, Fiorentina are trailing Como 1-0 after Assane Diao’s goal for the visitors late in the half.
13:00 CET – At 14:00 CET, the day’s play gets going in LaLiga with Espanyol hosting high-flying Athletic Club. The Basque side are sitting pretty in fourth place and have not lost in the league since October, impressively.
If Athletic win today, they will have a six-point buffer on Villarreal in fifth. As for Espanyol, they have slipped into the bottom three after Valencia’s draw last night, so will be desperate for anything today.
12:00 CET – There’s something about a sun-drenched lunchtime fixture in Serie A, it just feels iconically… Sunday, pun intended. Even more so when it involves the gorgeous purple kits of Fiorentina!
La Viola kick off the action today against Como, alas the hosts will be without the in-form Moise Kean, who is suspended.
10:30 CET – Hello and happy Sunday! The week is ending in style with Liverpool taking on Wolves and Tottenham hosting Manchester United before tonight’s Derby d’Italia between Juventus and Inter Milan.
First up, though, is a clash between Fiorentina and Como that will begin in two hours.
Saturday, February 15th
23:06 CET – Finally tonight, PSG have also edged to victory in Ligue 1 after Fabian Ruiz’s second-half goal provided the moment of quality in an otherwise dull affair. PSG didn’t have to come out of second gear, and with the title all but wrapped up, do they have an advantage over others in Europe?
23:01 CET – Valencia have secured a well-earned draw against Villarreal in LaLiga after coming from behind to rescue a point which could prove vital in their aim of avoiding relegation. They are now out of the drop zone on goal difference!
22:44 CET – It might have not been convincing, but AC Milan got the job done to beat Verona after Santiago Gimenez’s second-half strike, and they move up to seventh in Serie A.
21:54 CET – PSG might be so comfortable in Ligue 1 that they can rest key players for the Champions League midweek, but they will want to up the tempo and find a winning goal in the second half – this has been poor so far as they are level with Toulouse at the break.
21:33 CET – Work to do in the second half for AC Milan as they remain goalless against Verona at the break despite dominating the possession.
21:03 CET – Over to Ligue 1, and a Mika Biereth hat-trick has helped impressive Monaco to a 7-1 hammering of 10-man Nantes. It was a dominant and ruthless display from a side growing in confidence as this season progresses.
20:30 CET – Meanwhile, the clash at the top of the Bundesliga has finished all square! That is despite the fact Bayer Leverkusen dominated large spells, and Bayern Munich didn’t manage a single shot on target. It is a better point for Bayern on the road as their eight-point advantage at the top remains the same.
20:15 CET – Atletico Madrid have levelled things with Celta late on, of course, they have! Diego Simeone’s men are never down and out. Alexander Sorloth scored the goal.
20:00 CET – Atletico Madrid trail! Celta Vigo have taken the lead through a penalty from Iago Aspas.
19:50 CET – In a huge result in the Serie A title race, Napoli have drawn 2-2 away to Lazio with the home side getting an 87th-minute equaliser courtesy of Boulaye Dia.
With Atalanta also drawing today, this could end up being the dream weekend for Inter Milan.
19:27 CET – Atletico Madrid are in serious danger of missing the chance to close the gap in the title race with Diego Simeone’s side drawing 0-0 with Celta Vigo at the break and down to 10 men due to a red card for Pablo Barrios.
19:20 CET – At half-time in a huge clash between first and second in the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are level. The home side have been the much more dangerous of the two but haven’t been able to break the deadlock.
19:01 CET – Meanwhile, over in Ligue 1, Marseille have hammered rivals St Etienne to further cement their credentials as the best of the rest (after PSG) in France.
18:48 CET – Over to Serie A, and Lazio are level with Napoli at the break in a fascinating encounter. Exciting talent Gustav Isaksen fired Lazio ahead early on, but Napoli responded quickly through Giacomo Raspadori, and the score remained 1-1 until the break.
18:36 CET – Back to LaLiga, and Atletico Madrid are underway at home to Celta Vigo as they look to close ground on their city rivals Real.
18:28 CET – The final match of the day in the Premier League is just about to start as Crystal Palace host Everton in a game between two in-form sides.
18:10 CET – It’s two dropped points for Real Madrid with Osasuna making full use of the extra man to equalise in the second half through an Ante Budmir penalty as the striker’s hot streak continued.
17:55 CET – It is all over in the Premier League, and it is a rare comfortable afternoon for the Premier League holders. Manchester City were on it in all areas today, and a new star might have been realised in the name of Omar Marmoush after their new number seven’s sensational first-half hat-trick. City added a fourth through youngster James McAtee to add gloss to a big win over top-four rivals Newcastle United.
Elsewhere, Fulham produced a brilliant second-half display to beat Nottingham Forest and dent the visitors’ top-four hopes after a bullet header from Calvin Bassey.
And Aston Villa rescued a point after going behind at home to the 10 men of relegation battlers Ipswich Town. New signing Marcus Rashford was the catalyst for the equaliser as his brilliant free-kick from range hit the post, leaving Ollie Watkins to tap into an empty net.
17:36 CET – Next up in the Bundesliga is a mammoth clash between first and second as Bayern Munich visit the holders Bayer Leverkusen from 18:30 CET.
Defeat for the hosts would be fatal to their hopes of retaining the title, whilst victory would move them within five points of a side far from unstoppable. Vincent Kompany’s Bayern are a joy to watch going forward but are so vulnerable the other way – Leverkusen will get chances. However this one goes, it is unlikely to be dull, and the permutations are massive.

17:25 CET – Dortmund’s horror season in the Bundesliga has shown no signs of improving this afternoon as they lost 2-0 away to Bochum.
17:15 CET – Next up in Serie A sees top-of-the-league Napoli travel to a back-in-form and fourth-placed Lazio from 18:00 CET in a big game at the top of the table.
Check out the preview for that game here.
17:04 CET – Meanwhile, over in LaLiga, it has been a mixed half for league leaders Real Madrid. Kylian Mbappe’s hot form continued as he gave the visitors the lead in the 15th minute, but Jude Bellingham saw a straight red late in the half to take the shine off the half-time lead and provide hope for Osasuna in the second period.
16:57 CET – First up today in Ligue 1, rivals Marseille and St Etienne go head to head in a few minutes.
16:54 CET – Over to Serie A, and Atalanta have dropped points at home to Cagliari after failing to break the deadlock in the second half – a disappointing afternoon for the Bergamo side.
16:48 CET – It is half-time across the Premier League, and aside from a Marmoush show in Manchester, high-flying Bournemouth lead the struggling Saints 2-0 on the road, and Fulham are drawing 1-1 with Champions League-chasing Nottingham Forest, with Chris Wood once again on the scoresheet.
16:43 CET – Get on the Marmoush train because it is full steam ahead! City splashed the cash in January to save a season threatening to get away from them.
It has taken a few weeks, but the signing of Marmoush after he produced a sensational first half of the season in Germany might prove to be a great piece of business.
The forward now has a first-half hat-trick after tapping in from close range to complete a dream half in which he has scored his first three Premier League goals
