Enzo Maresca, the Chelsea interim manager, is anticipating a significant boost to his squad in the coming weeks as several key players are expected to return from injury. Maresca remains hopeful that Lavia, Madueke, and Jackson will be back in the lineup at the beginning of April, while the returns of Fofana, Badiashile, and Guiu are being closely monitored as they continue to progress in their rehabilitation programs.

Between now and the start of April, Chelsea faces a challenging schedule, with five matches to navigate. They will host Southampton and Leicester City in the Premier League, while also taking on FC Copenhagen twice in the UEFA Conference League’s Round of 16. Additionally, they will travel to face Arsenal in a crucial league clash.

With Chelsea currently just one point behind Manchester City and Newcastle United in the race for Champions League qualification, these upcoming matches hold significant importance. Victories against Southampton and Leicester City at home are a must, while the trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal will be a tougher task. Maresca has emphasized that a minimum of six points in the Premier League is an absolute requirement to maintain their push for a top-four finish.

Furthermore, Chelsea are expected to win the Conference League this season, and their path to the final appears favorable, with Real Betis and Fiorentina on the opposite side of the draw.
