Real Madrid Star Could Command £83m Transfer Fee This Summer

Arsenal have set their sights on Real Madrid’s Brazilian sensation Rodrygo for the upcoming summer transfer window, while simultaneously pursuing other high-profile targets to strengthen their squad.

The 24-year-old Brazilian superstar has established himself as one of football’s most dynamic forwards, becoming an integral part of Real Madrid’s success since 2019. His impressive trophy cabinet includes three LaLiga titles and two Champions League victories with the Spanish giants.

His teammate Jude Bellingham recently lauded Rodrygo as “the most talented and gifted player” in the Madrid squad, emphasizing that he remains “very underrated” despite his contributions. The Brazilian’s current season statistics speak volumes, with 12 goals and nine assists across 34 appearances.

Mikel Arteta has personally identified Rodrygo as a prime target to elevate Arsenal’s attacking prowess. However, securing his services won’t be straightforward, as Madrid values him at approximately €100million (£82.7m).

Midfield Revolution: Zubimendi Targeted as Jorginho’s Successor

Beyond Rodrygo, Arsenal’s recruitment plans extend to other LaLiga talents. Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi has emerged as the preferred candidate to replace Jorginho, who might be heading to Flamengo. The Gunners are “cautiously optimistic” about securing Zubimendi’s signature.

Additionally, Espanyol goalkeeper Joan Garcia is being considered as a long-term solution between the posts.

Forward Options: From Kean to Endrick

Arsenal’s attacking targets include:

  • Moise Kean (Fiorentina) – Available for €52million
  • Alexander Isak (Newcastle) – Arteta’s preferred choice
  • Benjamin Sesko (RB Leipzig)
  • Endrick (Real Madrid) – Viewed as both immediate and future prospect

Newcastle’s Isak, who has notched 19 goals and five assists this season, remains a priority target despite his club’s reluctance to sell.
